Jenny Craig’s Remarkable Website Revival: From Challenges to Triumph in Just 3 Months
Jenny Craig, a leader in weight management and nutrition, was known for its personalized counseling and frozen meal programs available across multiple countries, including the U.S., Canada, and Australia. After 40 years in business, Jenny Craig ceased operations in May 2023. However, its intellectual property was acquired by Wellful, Inc., the parent company of Nutrisystem, which relaunched Jenny Craig as an e-commerce platform in fall 2023.
As a Senior Front-End Developer, I was tasked with helping to build this new digital presence from the ground up under an accelerated timeline.

Developing an e-commerce website under normal circumstances is a complex process, but doing so from scratch in just three months added even greater pressure.
